We care about the creatures

All L’Aventura fragrances are vegan, and are never tested on any animals apart from the perfumer and her close human friends. 

We are crazy opinionated about what goes into our fragrances, whether natural or synthetic, and products derived from animals just aren’t our bag. 

That said, we adore some of the qualities that can only be found certain kinds of scents, so if we list something like civet in the fragrance notes, you can be assured that those elements are compounded from high quality, super safe synthetics. For these reasons, we only source our natural and synthetic materials from a few distributors which we’ve chosen because they guarantee that their products are of the highest quality and integrity.
